The National University of Agriculture (UNA), through the TAGDev 2.0 program, held an official ceremony on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Sakété campus to distribute laptops and insurance cards to the program’s scholarship recipients. This initiative is part of an effort to improve learning conditions and well-being for students supported by the program.The event began with remarks from the TAGDev 2.0 program coordinator at UNA, who reiterated the program’s core objectives. She emphasized that TAGDev 2.0 aims not only to support students’ academic education but also to provide them with an environment conducive to success through appropriate educational tools and adequate social coverage.
The symbolic presentation of laptops to a few students, representing all recipients, as well as the distribution of health insurance cards to all scholarship recipients. Through this initiative, the TAGDev 2.0 program reaffirms its commitment to equipping students with the digital tools essential for research, learning, and innovation, while ensuring their access to healthcare.
Speaking on behalf of her peers, the representative of the scholarship students expressed her deep gratitude to the UNA and the TAGDev 2.0 program. She praised this material and social support, which she described as an additional source of motivation to excel in their studies and live up to the trust placed in them.
Before closing the event, the program coordinator offered practical advice on the responsible use of computers and how to use the insurance card, urging the recipients to use it wisely and in accordance with the program’s objectives. Finally, she encouraged the students to demonstrate discipline, commitment, and excellence throughout their academic journey.
