On October 29, 2025, the National University of Agriculture (UNA) held a workshop at the Sainte Anouarite Center in Abomey-Calavi to validate its incubation and acceleration process document, as part of the #TAGDEV 2.0 program of the RUFORUM Network and the Mastercard Foundation๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก.

This workshop, chaired by Rector Prof. Agossou Bruno DJOSSA ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿซ, brought together faculty members ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿซ, students ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพโ€๐ŸŽ“, and experts ๐Ÿ’ผ around a common goal: to provide UNA with a clear, coherent, and operational framework to support young agricultural entrepreneurs in transforming their ideas ๐Ÿ’ญ into innovative and sustainable businesses ๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ.

Prof. Flora CHADARE ๐ŸŒธ, the program coordinator, noted that this document is the result of a participatory process ๐Ÿค involving several internal and external stakeholders.

The participants then exchanged ideas ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ, collaborated ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿพ, and offered valuable recommendations ๐Ÿ“„ to enhance the document before visiting the UAC Startup Valley incubator ๐Ÿ’ป๐ŸŒ โ€” a great source of inspiration for UNAโ€™s future incubation program.
